The strand of Contemporary Changes and Diversities in Everyday Lives considers what psychology has to offer with regard to the changes in the format of everyday lives that follow from demographic changes.

E.g.: Women in the workforce challenge the gendered division of work and the organisation of child care; people - women in particulare - live longer and will need more professional care and support from other women; increasing divorce reates create new models for post-divorce parenting; recent immigration are changing the neighbourhoods and schools where boys and girls - as children and young people - grow up and find their ways. What are the psycohological implications? What are people trying to accomplish under the circumstances?
